Working Together to Safeguard Children

No matter where you live, there will always be people you can reach out to for help. Examples of these people include teachers, social workers, police and health workers. Your parents and carers are also there to keep you safe, help you do the things you enjoy and help you do well at all the things you choose to do.

Lots of different people work together to help, support and protect you. All children have the right to be supported when things are diffcult, and you should have help to do the things you enjoy. You also have the right to be safe inside and outside of your home.

Working Together to Safeguard Children’ is a guide for all the different people who should work together if you need help.

It explains what is expected of them, and what they have to do to make sure you are listened to. It also tells them how they can help you understand what help and support you can get.
